Jiu-Jitsu has been the cornerstone of my life since 2010. I trained at Carlson Gracie Team and Alliance Jiu-Jitsu in Chicago from 2010 until 2021. I was also the fundamentals coach at Alliance Jiu-Jitsu Schaumburg for many years.
I have never been a great competitor, but I have done a lot of matches and am proud to have been on the podium more than once. My future wife (Natalie Barczyk Wuckert) joined the gym in 2013, and we fell fast in love. She’s an excellent competitor, and was for a time one of the highest ranked blue and purple belt adult females in the country. I’m very proud to have been her coach during her biggest winning streaks.
I moved to Florida in 2021 where I received my brown and now black belt under Rodrigo Mendes who runs one of the oldest (and best) BJJ schools in South Florida.
I teach intermediate and advanced gi classes at RMBJJ, and compete at Ultra Heavy weight.
I’m 6’3” and weigh 275lbs, and my favorite positions are half guard and S-mount. See you on the mats!
