From my Instagram-post in regards to my promotion: "On the 20th of January 2026, I was blessed with the company of good friends and fellow Jiu-Jitsu-kas at the graduation ceremony at Jiu-Jitsu-kasJiu-Jitsu-kas Fighters6000 in Kolding. We were 12 blackbelts on the mat, and I have known them all since back in the day, black belts and almost all of them since they were white belts like me. We graded a lot of people that day, all of whom were very well deserved. I myself graded my black belt @martindissing_dk to his first dan stripe. In turn, my dearest and oldest fellow jiujitka and long-time close friend @davidrosmon honored and blessed me and my day by presenting me with my 3-dan black belt / Preta 3rd Grau in Brazilian Jiujitsu, long-time dan stripe, long-time long-time long-time. Or, long-timedan stripe, to long-time long-time, ginally I had received the diploma and blessing from my coach and professor, Luiz Palhares 8th Dan BJJ Blackbelt - @luizpalharesjiujitsu in the authum the 23th of october, but an trafic incident had postponed all chancen of properly tying the knot at the Danish National Grappling camp at Ollerup Højskole held by my dear friend, Thomas Kent @thomaskentdk - But now, what has been reality for som time is officially celebrated by those of my good friends and Jiujitsu-kas that could attend on the day, and the rest I will be high-fiving just as much the rest of my life as these guys, celebrating their wins and graduations and taking joy in their Jiujitsu journey as we take joy in our shared experiences of jiujitsu, life and all the silly things that are constantly happing to us and around us. My Professor, Mr. L Palhares 7th Dgr. blackbelt across the big pond in the US and I had a dialogue today he was kind enough to upgrade/promote med to the next level since corona had previously prevented us from meeting up. These are weird times with the pandemic and all, but I am very, very honored to continue to a student under professor Luiz Palhares and Arnar Frey Vigfusson

the 07. feb I was Graduated to Brownbelt in BJJ - Gracie Jiujitsu under my blackbelt coach Arnar. We did a 50 minutes BJJ-ironman session, and then for the heck of it, I asked the boyz to whip me on top of it -Yolo, så why not do it Badass AND Ol'School all rolled into one? It was close to 9½ after my first seminar with a BJJ Blackbelt i 2003 (That Arnar actually once studied under).
